Introduces the theory and principles of coagulation and explores mechanisms involved in coagulation disorders. Emphasis is placed upon laboratory techniques used to diagnose disease and monitor treatment. PREREQUISITES: 10513110 Basic Lab Skills, 10806177 General Anatomy and Physiology and COREQUISITE: 10513120 Basic Hematology. The Medical Laboratory Technician program is supported with $200,000 in WTCS Grant Funds.
