  This 7 day/ 56 hr training will result in DOJ Certification as a handgun and rifle instructor for officers successfully completing the course. This is a comprehensive instructor training on the justification for the use of deadly force, and the function, disassembly, troubleshooting, cleaning, maintenance, loading, unloading, reloading, malfunction clears, transition procedures in handgun and the modern police rifle. Marksmanship and combat firing will be at ranges of 1 to 200 yards. Must have completed the 32-hour CJ-IDC course before attending, OR be a currently-certified LESB instructor. Must be a certified officer with at least 3 years experience. Must pass any skills evaluation conducted at the beginning of this course.
